Our guides will identify, assess and minimise risks involved, so far as reasonably practicable, but there are still risks, including some not mentioned in this list.
If you have any concerns please get in touch.
There is risk of natural disasters such as earthquake at all times in New Zealand.
There is a risk of extreme and uncertain weather at any time of year including snow.
There is a risk of equipment failure either with bikes or camping gear that cannot be avoided.
There is risk in the terrain with rock fall and loose terrain.
There is a risk of traffic on both public and private roads.
This trip requires a moderate amount of physical energy including riding uphill.
