Sign up — 7 Day Backcountry Mountain Bike Tour
You’re 30 seconds from holding a spot. Fill this in and you’ll go straight to a secure Stripe page to pay your NZ$2,450 deposit — that’s 25%, with the balance of NZ$7,350 due 60 days before we ride.
The deposit is what locks your place in. We cap every departure at 6 riders, so spots go on a first-deposit basis, and we need a minimum of 3 riders for a departure to run.
Once your deposit is through we’ll send a short rider questionnaire — fitness, bike size, dietary needs, emergency contact — which we need back within 7 days to confirm your booking.
Two things to line up before you commit:
Comprehensive travel insurance covering mountain biking is mandatory. Some policies exclude MTB, so check the wording before you buy.
This tour has blue and black trail riding with intermediate to high fitness demands over seven days. If you’re not sure whether that’s you, ask us before you pay — we’d much rather have that conversation now and we can make a trip that suits your needs or recommend another company.
Questions? WhatsApp us or reply to the confirmation email you’ll get in a moment.
Booking and cancellation terms
- A 25% deposit secures your booking. The balance is due 60 days before departure.
- Booking within 60 days of departure? Full payment is required at the time of booking.
- NZ$250 of your deposit is non-refundable.
- Cancel more than 60 days before departure: refund of everything paid, less that NZ$250.
- Cancel 30–60 days before: 50% refund of the total tour price.
- Cancel less than 30 days before: no refund.
- If we cancel — because we don’t reach our minimum of 3 riders, or conditions make the trip unsafe — you get a full refund or can transfer to another departure.
- Comprehensive travel insurance covering mountain biking and medical evacuation is mandatory for every rider.
